This movie broke the usual stereotypical Mollywood formula where the superstar is the hero fighting villains out. Here, we see a woman-centered real incident film where the heroine in the driver’s seat, the cockpit, and both Parvathy and Uyare marked a very successful landing.

This movie is also based on true events that occurred on a Kochi Metro train, where a picture of a sleeping hearing/speech-impaired man was mistaken as a drunkard by a fellow passenger who shares the content online. This movie depicts what the man and his family had to face and go through when he is recognized in public as the "Kochi Metro Drunkard". Vikruthi makes us cry, laugh, and above all invokes our empathy and warns us to check the content before sharing for a wrong share could ruin a man’s life. The film is a must-watch where misinformation spreads like wildfire. Watch out before we share anything and everything we get.
